APAI’s Safe Worker Awards recognize our members' asphalt professionals for their commitment to work zone and plant/lab safety. There is no overall winner - we salute all safe workers who are nominated by our producer contractor and laydown contractor members!

SUBMITTAL INFORMATION
- Nominations open Tuesday, September 8, 2026, and close on Friday, October 9, 2026. Late submittals will NOT be accepted.
- Only APAI producer contractor and laydown members may submit individuals for this award. Each member may nominate up to eight asphalt professionals, and all nominees will be recognized as winners.
- Nominations can be submitted by completing the form below. Please fill out as much information in the table as possible for each nominee.
- Cost per nomination is $150 and includes lunch on Thursday, December 10, 2026 at the APAI Winter Conference & Expo Awards Luncheon, personalized certificate, and jacket.
- Invoices will be sent for all nominees at a later date.
JACKET INFORMATION
This jacket is built for warmth, durability, and comfort in demanding outdoor work environments. The rugged cotton outer shell is tough enough to withstand daily wear while providing a softer feel than traditional workwear fabrics.
