APAI’s Safe Worker Awards recognize our members' asphalt professionals for their commitment to work zones and plant safety. There is no overall winner - we salute all safe workers who are nominated by our producer contractor and laydown contractor members!

SUBMITTAL INFORMATION

• Nominations open Tuesday, September 8, 2026, and close on Friday, October 9, 2026.   Late submittals will NOT be accepted.
• Only APAI producer contractor and laydown members may submit individuals for this award. Each member may nominate up to eight asphalt professionals, and all nominees will be recognized as winners. A separate submission is required for each nominee.  Please complete and submit this form individually for every nomination.
• Nominations can be submitted by completing the form below.  
• Cost per nomination is $150 and includes lunch on Thursday, December 10, 2026 at the APAI Winter Conference & Expo Awards Luncheon, personalized certificate, and choice of jacket.
• Invoices will be sent for all nominees at a later date.

ANSI Class 3 Safety Jacket with Removable Fleece Liner

Canvas Thermal Lined Jacket (Brown)

Rugged canvas shell, generous sizing, and the lightweight thermal lining make these a great three seasons work jacket!  Made of heavyweight 12 oz., brushed "Rugged Duck" fabric. Lightweight thermal lining for the cooler days. Action-back pleats and elbow pleats for better range of motion. Plenty of inner and outer pockets for all your gadgets. Two hand-warmer fleece lined pockets.
